Spotted Section?
Not sure if its just me but I would like to see a spotted section within the forums. Would be good to post other z4's kicking about the area and see if anyone spots you. It's a good way to know who is local to you and an easier way to know who would be up for local meets. What are your thoughts on it?

Re: Spotted Section?
Another forum I was on in the past had a map that people could add theirselves to.
If people wanted to use it it would probably give a better idea of where people were than a spotted thread.
The problem is whether or not people want to advertise on the net where they actually are.

Yeah, we've got that too. The link is in Stuart Truman's sig, I think the thread is called 'where is everyone'. Should be in the lounge so at least only signed up members can see it.Nictrix wrote:Another forum I was on in the past had a map that people could add theirselves to.

Re: Spotted Section?
Appologies! its well hidden! instead of a thread, it would be good to see a section however. Making it easier to read if you understand. And I know this should have gone under the forum discussion secrtion before anyone says anything. I posted it then realised....

Re: Spotted Section?
Hmmm I see your logic, don't think it's that 'well hidden' as its at the top of the specific model coded section so one in the E85 & E86 section and another in the E89 section. That way people who maybe only use that specific section know if they've been spotted it's in there. It also means people don't need to say E85, E86 or E89 if advising what car they saw. Instead they can post in the correct sub section and say roadster or coupRicardo1992 wrote:Appologies! its well hidden! instead of a thread, it would be good to see a section however. But always good to have other opinions on how or what people like, don't like or think could be improved upon

There is but the writing is so small you'd all need to stand over the other side of the room to see it, whilst still squintingSwiftly wrote:jimbo1958 wrote:Someone will be along in a minute to tell you there's already a thread for that.Dav the wheel nut wrote:This thread is becoming like an advert for specsavers
