Try a VPN like Hide My Ass.
That'll stop it. It's also useful when abroad because you can chose a UK server and still watch BBC iPlayer, SkyGo etc.

ive found setting IE to delete cookies/temp etc when you close down stops ads but has the disadvantage of making you log in every time you access the forum instead of remembering you.
