Regret travelling at someone else’s expense does have its distractions & disadvantages of keeping me away from post hoaring

I know that feeling - I got "stuck" in Singapore in 2010 when Heathrow was shut because of the dust storm from the Icelandic eruption.

So I had to visit Raffles on expenses to see what those Singapore Slings were all about - they're pretty good!

Definitely worth a visit - when I got "stranded" Singapore Airlines put me in the Shangrila. That's the only hotel I have ever stayed in where I could open the curtains without getting out of bed using the remote!

I went back to Sing later that year with Mrs Tidy for a couple more Slings, but they taste so much better on expenses!

My knowledge of such things is sadly lacking, and I am grateful for the handy knowledge of such a place. :P 8)
