Reporting posts and Moderator actions

All posts that members report are taken seriously. We may act on the report immediately or we may collectively discuss the report and decide what action, if any, to take.

Moderators on this forum believe in the decency and fair-mindedness of its members and therefore air on the side of caution with regard to censoring or closing threads.

Often reported threads will be monitored and allowed to self-police, however action will be taken when necessary. Members are entitled to their own opinions regarding when it is ‘necessary’ to take action, and are entitled to express those opinions. However, it is the moderators - informed by those opinions, but also by wider factors and by their own experience - who will decide, and such decisions are rarely black and white.

If you report a post and nothing happens, that does not mean it has been ignored. If you report a post and are unhappy with the moderators decision there may be other factors you are unaware of that have informed that decision. If the moderators close your report and decide not to take action, please respect our decision.

So continue to report posts that you believe break forum rules or that you think should be brought to our attention and we will take it from there.

Thanks for your co-operation and understanding.

I've reported your post cos I don't like it

Fair play Marlon, most of us understand that you all have lives and jobs outside Z4-Forum - aslong as certain trolls don't re-appear everything seems pretty hunky dory around here.
