URL Problem?

Post by kis » Fri Mar 16, 2018 1:20 pm

For example

Kis
Which is: *url=z4-forum.com/forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=22673]Kis[/url*

Becomes this when you click on the link?
*z4-forum.com/forum/z4-forum.com/forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=22673*

Replicates Z4 forum section in bold...

Where did you get that link from? Looks like you are missing the https:// from the front of the url.

Kis
Which is: *url=memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=22673]Kis[/url*

If I change it to the above and just start with memberlist seems to work fine? It's a link that used to work on the Carly locations thread I started a while back. Since the site update it's not happy with the links.

Yeah, I can see that now... not sure if something changed in the behaviour in between versions. I did notice that you had www. in your links, which I have now removed from the site, but even without that it still behaves the same.

So will it stay the same? I'll just change them all to start with memberlist? Or will any future updates possibly mess that up to? Thanks :)

I think it'll likely remain the same, unless it's a bug. If you want to make sure it doesn't break, just drop the www and put https:// in front, that way it is the correct format for a full URL
