Calendar for meets and events?
Is there any chance of getting something along these lines? I've seen them on other forums and they have been really handy when planning events and also, if you just happen to have a spare day and fancy meeting some like minded individuals without trawling through pages of the meets and events part of the forum

I'm for. Unfortunately yes or no to for or against doesn't make sense. Rephrase the question.

We have the meets & Events Forum Page for this. Works well, as long as people remember to look in on it and don't just click on New Posts and Active Topics. Buttons, as soon as they log in
A short cut button to that page might be just the ticket.
Also perhaps split it into two pages. Meet & Events, plus Road Trips, not sure what differences are to be honest.

It's a good idea in principle, though I wouldn't fancy the job of administering it.

How about a google calendar with sharing & writing set to all? Those organising an event can enter in the calendar (if they wish) and if regular, just set to ‘every third Sunday’ for example? Regions could use specific colours.

Just getting back to this, I'm happy to setup something with shared access as talked about, the problem is how do you control it, I've got an idea if having a zed specific username and password that can be handed out to select individuals to add and remove events etc.
I'll have a think and see if I can come up with something
