This forum been hacked?

I know forums need adverts but every now and then I get those sh***y annoying spam redirects telling me I can earn 1k and hour or claim whatever voucher today was £100 primark? and don't permit to go back and just spam again and again? Is this intended? The primark one even makes my phone vibrate repeatedly.

Never ever had one of those, whilst on this forum. Just the regular Add bar at the bottom of the page. :?

Could this be an issue with malware associated with your browser ? I’ve never had any issues.

The banner ad shouldn't cause the spamming problems you're describing - perhaps its a browser issue as Bing suggests.

Never seen this. We do have the ability to block certain adverts so if you can give me more details of exactly the url it is going to I can exclude it... if it is related to the forum advert that is, if it’s your browser there is nothing I can do

I had this with chrome browser on my phone and I couldn't find a solution.
I now use Firefox and never had an issue.

I also reset my advertising id through the Google settings and ads.

PITA definitely.

Yup, do get random redirects too. It's either some plugin you're using or something on your host it self. I doubt that you'll be able to block it through AdSense or phpbb like you did with my image hosting :)

It"s your own browser, everything you look at on www, sends back crap, most of it gets rejected but some are persistent little rats, always looking for something you might have forgotten to close, !!!!!!!!

You’re probably right. I use this forum on my phone and have never ever had one redirect.

I do however need an example of a url in order to get to the bottom of it. If I have that, one way or another I can block it.

I'll post the link next time it happens. It is not our browsers. It only happens on this forum and I've only seen it on my android phone - I have multiple phones and all do that.
