Aston Martin custom paint job

Post by Nictrix » Thu Apr 19, 2018 12:55 pm

A few years ago something similar happened to a member on a bike forum I am on.
His ex covered his new R1 in paint while in his garage. His bike was written off and he bought the bike back from the insurance.
He sold the bike to another member who had to spend hours and hours removing all the paint.
I think there was only a few bits he couldn't get the paint off and had to replace.
Ended up with a mint bike though.

Can't work out how you'd get that splash pattern from reversing over a can? It looks to me like someone has swung an open can at the car

Exactly what I was thinking. If you did that you would have jet wash on it straight away and most would indeed wash off. Either a set up or some ones not very bright.

Guess that the tin moved a bit under the reversing car - say started with the shot along the sill line as the top opened slightly then twisted and exploded covering the rear

It looks like the wrap they do on a concept car
