Offside headlamp squirty thing is sticking. Will push back in and stay there.
Is this a 'known issue' and there's a trick I should know, or just have a fiddle and try to see what's going on?

On other BMWs there are issues with the washers sticking open, not heard of anybody with a Z complaining yet.
It happened on our X6 and I followed a guide on youtube for stripping them down and cleaning them.
I was lucky to be able to remove the washers from the bumper without removing the bumper.
After doing this they are working a treat.
The guide on youtube was for a 5 series or something but the washers all seem to work the same so once you get the washer off the car the guide helps.
Not much to them and only need a hammer and a socket to strip and rebuild.

I had an issue with my nearside headlamp washer on my 2015 18i..
It's still under warranty so I took it back to BMW who reluctantly replaced it but said it looked like someone had attempted to steal it.
They said that they've had numerous cases of people trying to steal the covers which results in damage or misalignment of the unit.
Hope that helps.
