But, a worthy and lovely looking replacement

.... which I'm sure you'll regret just a little
Thanks Alan, I'm hoping it will make a good daily driver and a fun weekender :driving:

I still miss the zed in so many ways, as it's a hard act to follow.

Well maybe change the sig, but with those numbers the user name still works OK!

Love the colour too. I do like the shape of the 2 series coupe, much better than the previous 1 Series Coupe!

Enjoy being Swift. :driving:

Swiftly wrote: Wed Jun 07, 2017 6:47 pm Finally found a replacement for my zed which I sold a couple of weeks ago. I finally picked up from Dick Lovett in Bristol, a M240i automatic coupe which is loaded with loads of extras, so am very happy :D

I also had an enjoyable long drive back to Edinburgh, which gave me the opportunity to start to get to know the car. First mod once I have saved up some more pennies will be an M Performance silencer with carbon tips and a rear diffuser.

Cracking cars,my wife had a 1series coupe,and think it's a great looking car still,as is this

Yeah,the zeds are a hard car to replace,indeed :D

They are nice cars indeed.

My son had a custom exhaust (still including the valve) fitted near Liverpool for his 140, does sound rather a lot better though than standard.

With the Carly app, there is a lot of coding you can do (folding mirrors on lock, time that the reverse camera works and a whole load of other stuff). Worth having a play with that.

Looking to get an M Performance Sports Exhaust with carbon tips fitted, there are currently some good deals for supply and fitting by dealers to are to be had.

I am going to have a play about with the Carly App, I would love to be able to deactivate the auto start/stop function, it just doesnt seem right to have one on a performance car somehow

Been keeping an eye out for quite a while now for a good 2 year old low mileage 35is in the right colour and with the right spec. They are as rare as hens teeth Craig. One I did see was 2 years old, 8K miles with red leather and fully loaded. Only bad point was that it was in black which is a deal breaker for me unfortunately.

Will still come to some runs if I am allowed to attend :driving:

Looks great

BimmerCode is another good app, cheaper the Carly and can code more options believe.

Sports cat or removing the mid silencer will give you a better soundtrack the the Mpe
