i just wrap tape around a normal socket. total cost: $0.
2013 35is (you know what it looks like, there's no reason for me to be a jerk & force you to see it in the signature of EVERY post)

Same here - Although, as mentioned above, wrapping a thick layer of electrical tape around the outside of a standard socket works just as well

They're different sizes, the colour-coding helps avoid having to squint at the engraved numbers to select the correct size - very useful as you get older and start to require reading glasses... :oldman:

TBH, I bought a set of these last year, again when I changed my alloys. Think I paid bout £7 or £8.

However, whereas the sockets seem fine, the plastic sleeve has a habit of riding down the socket when in use, which I find annoying.

Have since gotten 17 & 19mm Matco ones, and the plastic sleeve on those has a lip both ends that sits and rotates in grooves in the socket, stopping this from happening. Not a big problem with the cheap ones, but it annoyed me, and was probably made worse by using an impact gun to remove nuts, I presume the sleeve was rattling loose..

£12, bargain. I've been using an old wheel brace from my van :oops: I can use these with my torque wrench. :thumbsup:

I have a set of these by Voche. Great kit but it's a shame the white plastic doesn't stay white for very long. :(
