Hi Guys, a little assistance please.
My new acquisition (2010 35is) has the professional radio and Hifi speakers upgrade S663 & S676 with the single slot CD player and Aux in (3.5mm jack) However, on the vin spec it also states S694 provision for 6CD changer. Can I therefore retrofit a suitable BMW CD changer? and where does it go?
Cheers

My entire iTunes library is on a tiny little usb stick in the centre console and the CD/DVD slot is used for the odd time I buy a Disk away from home.
£15 for a USB - so save your cash!
You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

Same for me....Music saved to car or plug into Spotify using USB in armrest.
But to answer the original query.....I'm sure I read someplace that if the multi-changer is fitted then it's in the glovebox.....Upper and to the back.......I had a look there when I bought ours.

I hear what your saying Ronk but mine does not have the USB interface as far as I can tell, unless its hidden away somewhere! I can only find the 3.5 Aux Jack unless you are saying a converter is available ?ronk wrote:Ive never felt the need for a 6CD changer in these cars when they've got the USB Facility!RayM wrote:Hi Guys, a little assistance please.

Do you think this kind of thing would work then?

I don't think it would, as there's nothing supplying the power to it as such like when you use an ipod or mp3 player via a male / male 3.5mm jack.

No, one is in the centre console - on the rear vertical face. Lift the arm rest - theres a little sliding trap door.

It is after 2010, during that year and before USB was an option.ronk wrote:No, one is in the centre console - on the rear vertical face. Lift the arm rest - theres a little sliding trap door.
