I am currently sat in a pub with a pint waiting for a friend before going to see Sum 41, and i have been thinking about my drive up here.
It was roughly 220miles of A38, M5, A303, M3 M25. I reset my computers before leaving and was rather impressed at the mpg for the run. I had an average speed of 65mph, didn't stop once, diciplined bladder, with an mpg of 39! I admit, it was with the roof up, damn rain, and no passenger, but I normally get 26-27 for the work run and little jaunts.
Just goes to show that the straight 6 can be a frugal little thing. Oh, and the roundabouts were exited swiftly, I wasn't gentle

I recently went to my Mum's and back, a trip of 90 odd miles, uphill all the way there, obviously the opposite coming back. Had cruise set to 79mph actual and did just over 34mpg!
Normally average 20!
