I'm off!
Haven't been here much lately, too busy being retired I guess. I turn 70 this year (how the f*ck did that happen?) and had a yearning for a more comfortable motor.
Anyhow, I'm getting out of the zed community, today I px'd for a new 420i Msport, got a good deal. Had a test drive, mightily impressed. I get my hands on the new one in a couple of weeks time. Auto, Msport+ package etc.
I'll keep dropping by on the forum and may make the occasional post if something raises my blood pressure to a sufficient level.
Best wishes to all

Enjoy the new motor and retirement John. Please do pop back on here from time to time, and it'd be nice to see you at the Watermill again in August if you're inclined.
All the best mate.

Thanks all.
I don't intend to quit the forum as long as you lot will put up with me sticking my z4-less nose in now and again. After all, other people do it I guess, Tim?

Yupp I've stuck around John simply because folks on here are so friendly and nice, plus I get all my white goods queries answered Seriously though I find this forum relaxing to use and there's far less argueing etc compared to many forums. I venture onto babybmw occasionally but too many young heads on there. I'll be completely Zedless soon but will still be on here

What no Z4 OP!
On a serious note, enjoy your new car and retirement - the latter must surely be quite a good place to be!
At least you aren't leaving the forum.

Im also 70 this year and have no intentions of throwing the towel in just yet - I've just traded up to 35is last year - the comfortable car is just as nippy, so ive got all bases covered
I hope to keep the Zed as long as my legs allow me to get in and out without too much trouble.

You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

The big 70 for me next year Where does the time go - as you get older the quicker it goes - cliché but so true !
Enjoy your new car John - it sound's awesome I'm still prevaricating whether or not I should sell my old zed - just bought a 2012 Focus Estate 2.0DCi Titanium - what a difference in comfort to the zed - makes an old man very happy ( and comfortable ) - we're now back up to 3 cars with only the 2 of us living at home now - if I do sell I hope it goes to someone off the Island so I don't have to see it
