Really wish I didn't have to sell the Zed but we have a little one now so need some rear seats. I've enjoyed the car for the last 2.5 years and looked after it well but now it needs to go to a new home : (

how do you get that to pass an MOT? take the very obviously illegal plates off every time you put it in?

Errrrrm yes. I keep legit ones in the boot but the plate has now been removed anyway and the original plate applied.

A lot of people suggest getting pics in a smart location, grounds of a country house, golf club that sort of thing. And the price is still top-end, there are only 5 2006/07 3.0Si on autotrader with under 60k miles but are priced from only £7250.

I tend to set my price very near what I would accept as it tempts viewings and you can hold out on price if you are confident there isn't anything within travelling distance that's any better. But it looks a nice example and it sometimes takes patience, the times I get no calls for weeks, then just after it's sold you get deluged! I think people view the cheap rubbish then move up the price scale to view better examples maybe? GLWTS

Clean the engine and take fresh photos, I know it's a daily driver but it looks filthy under the bonnet.
A bit of back to black on the engine bay plastics will make a world of difference.

I saw Zeds of my spec going for a lot more than £7250 a few months ago but sods law, I wasn't ready to sell it then. Looks like I will need to reconsider the price but personally (and based on the above) I thought I priced it quite fairly. I agree there are silver / black ones going for less but I was under the impression the colour combo would add appeal.

I'll get the cleaning kit and my SLR camera out this weekend then. Bit tough with a newborn in the house now though!

A sensible price tactic, you now have it under the 8k threshold so it should be seen by more buyers when they set up their search parameters

It's rare for me to comment on cars for sale, but I am amazed that this is still around. That blue and grey combo is cracking and for <£8k it is so much car for the money.

Can only imagine that it's not the time of year for roadsters, which is silly because I get my roof down as much when it's cold as when it's hot. Hope it sells soon.
