2008 57-plate Titanium Silver 3.0si Sport roadster for sale - £7,500. I'm getting close to agreeing a deal on a new car so would rather sell it privately and on the forum to save us both a bit of the dealer margin lost in the part-exchange process .

Located in Livingston, central Scotland.

All the usual 3.0si Sport standard options:

• 3.0si 265ps engine
• 6-spd manual gearbox
• M Sport suspension
• 18” MV2/Style 135M wheels
• Dream Red Oregon leather interior
• Electric memory sports seats
• Aluminium interior trim
• M leather steering wheel
• AUX in
• Auto lights with headlight washers
• Auto wipers
• Climate Control
• Auto dimming rear view mirror

OEM centre wind deflector fitted, cupholders, stubby, ZHP, HID bulbs.

58,500 miles so still under the threshold for cheaper warranty premium I believe.

I'm the second owner, 1st owner 2008-2012 and me since then. 25,000 miles in those 4.5 years with 6 months of a 20 mile each-way commute, otherwise only really used for longer trips and forum runs .

FBMWSH, other work done at local specialists (including full brake replacement 6,000 miles ago). MoT until Jan 2017, will be due an Inspection 2 service in 10,000 miles or Jan 2017 whichever is sooner.

Roof has always operated perfectly, drain holes checked/cleared regularly. DSC/ABS hydraulic unit replaced in 2013 and that's been the only major issue. Front foglights replaced due to condensation issues.

Goodyear Eagle F1 AS2 non-runflat tyres, fronts about 6mm, rears 5mm.

Good condition overall including interior, some wee scratches on the boot and a bigger one on the nearside (see photos to come). Couple of the wheels could do with a refurb now and some minor wear marks on the roof.

Hardtop available (with bag and side covers) separately/for an additional £750.

Full BMWSH too. Can't believe it hasn't been snapped up. Maybe the 2 issues with the bodywork are putting punters off?

A 60k 08 3,0 Si with minor cosmetics to sort for £7k The fairly predictable Z market has gone awol this year
This should offer depreciation proof ownership for a good number of years

This really is a steal in my view - even with the scratches - no offence intended to anyone but it makes me so annoyed when a clearly good genuine car is offered at a bargain price and you get people wanting to have it further reduced to make every minor fault rectified - at the end of the day it is second hand - if anyone wants a perfect car then spend £30k on a new one - here is a chance of spending a few quid to get it up to near pristine and still be an absolute bargain.

Makes me laugh when if anything the car is under priced & small, insignificant things are pointed out obviously hoping to reduce the price even further.
I wonder if those people would be of the same mind when it came to selling their car?
You've got to be reasonable yourself if something is up for a bargain price

Shame about the scratches - you had any quotes on getting this addressed?

The large nearside one I had a quote of £250 for doing, he reckoned it would be easy enough to blend the repair into the crease line as it's close to it along the length. Ones on the boot lid should be smart-repairable so £100-150. I've been away quite a bit recently so just not been able to get the car booked in and sorted, may get round to it if time allows.

The OP has provided perfectly good pictures of each Alloy. If you want a quote to refurb them, cut and paste them into an email and (or even just the link) and send it to the garage you would use, in order for them to provide you with a refurb quote.

This is what Mr Wilks means about you wasting other peoples time. The OP has said he is away a lot and doesnt have time to address the minor issues.
