2008 57-plate Titanium Silver 3.0si Sport roadster - SOLD

Post by AndrewP » Sun Jul 10, 2016 11:17 am

2008 57-plate Titanium Silver 3.0si Sport roadster for sale - SOLD. I've now got a Porsche Cayman S so time to move on after 4.5 great years .

Located in Livingston, central Scotland.

All the usual 3.0si Sport standard options:
  • 3.0si 265ps engine
  • 6-spd manual gearbox
  • M Sport suspension
  • 18” MV2/Style 135M wheels
  • Dream Red Oregon leather interior
  • Electric memory sports seats
  • Aluminium interior trim
  • M leather steering wheel
  • AUX in
  • Auto lights with headlight washers
  • Auto wipers
  • Climate Control
  • Auto dimming rear view mirror
OEM centre wind deflector fitted, cupholders, stubby, ZHP, HID bulbs.

58,500 miles so still under the threshold for cheaper warranty premium I believe.

I'm the second owner, 1st owner 2008-2012 and me since then. 25,000 miles in those 4.5 years with 6 months of a 20 mile each-way commute, otherwise only really used for longer trips and forum runs :D.

FBMWSH, other work done at local specialists (including full brake replacement 6,000 miles ago). MoT until Jan 2017, will be due an Inspection 2 service in 10,000 miles or Jan 2017 whichever is sooner.

Roof has always operated perfectly, drain holes checked/cleared regularly. DSC/ABS hydraulic unit replaced in 2013 and that's been the only major issue. Front foglights replaced due to condensation issues.

Goodyear Eagle F1 AS2 non-runflat tyres, fronts about 6mm, rears 5mm.

Good condition overall including interior, some wee scratches on the boot and a bigger one on the nearside (see photos to come). Couple of the wheels could do with a refurb now and some minor wear marks on the roof.

Hardtop available (with bag and side covers) separately/for an additional £750.

You've voiced interest in almost every E85 that's been listed in the past few weeks from 2.5s to ///Ms
I can't remember a better time to grab a decent example at fair money yet you seem to be struggling ?
Perhaps as my gran used to say " your wants are too high for means to supply "
The OPs car is priced well enough to cover doing some work to get the car mint or if you don't want the bother just dig into your wallet a bit deeper http://usedcars.bmw.co.uk/Z/3.0si-SE/Sh ... c=se_na_re_

Correct - i have shown interest in quite a few examples in recent months - absolutely.

Started at the low end - test driven a few that have fallen short of my expectations,
but slowly finding my way to the right example i hope. :driving:

The right example, the right spec and with in my budget..... is out there i'm sure.

I trust i am within my rights to show interest in the cars posted FOR SALE?

(thanks for the link as well btw  )

Appreciate that - dont think i wasted anyones time and only test driven the ones i was serious about buying.
Only then do you find out about the issues that need attention/rectifying etc.
Shame really - as i feel my time was wasted on 1 or 2!

I hope i dont get that type of attitude when i buy the right example and ask questions in the discussion/help section or updates and mods.

Anyway - to the OP; still interested if you have had a price on correction of scratches/damage - thanks.

Thanks guys, hopefully priced right for condition and for a quick sale. Cayman or Evora are on my shortlist next.

The large nearside one I had a quote of £250 for doing, he reckoned it would be easy enough to blend the repair into the crease line as it's close to it along the length. Ones on the boot lid should be smart-repairable so £100-150. I've been away quite a bit recently so just not been able to get the car booked in and sorted, may get round to it if time allows.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Those numbers will help along with an alloy refurb quote.

Nice car at a great price! I would hope it sells really quick, in fact someone should bite your hand off as the price leaves plenty of room to correct any expected fiaws in an eight year old car! GLWTS
