Sytner High Wycombe

Post by indeep75 » Sat Jan 23, 2016 4:07 pm

Have to say I'm quite impressed with these guys. Took my motor in for a bit of a health check after hearing some 'knocking' and 'rotational' noises from the underside of the car and they quickly identified and fixed a couple of minor issues for me. I'm most impressed by the video they upload explaining exactly what the the issue is, useful for a non-mechanical newb like myself. Check it out...

I'm fairly new to BMW ownership so not sure how common this is (my old Scirocco certainly didn't get the same treatment at VW).

Inspection 2 is next on the list for this year, though at £815 Sytner doesn't fall in to the 'cheap' category.

Never seen a dealer make a video like that before -seems like a great idea!

Plenty of green open space and a lot quieter, I live in Stokenchurch.
There is a planned meet in April, there should be quite a few forum members there, my first forum meet, here's the link.

I'm in High Wycombe, Downley. I used get my company cars serviced there. I've always had good service. I don't know whether they still do it but they used to employ meet and greet girls who stood at the window , watched you park, looked you up on their booking list and then greeted you personally as you walked though the door. Twas impressive. :) Still use them for spares for the zed.

My local dealer did the same when I had brake disks/pads changed. Peace of mind for non techies but actually showed me nothing.

You video does actually show issues though which is good.

I've always heard good things about Sytner, popped in a few times when I was hoping to buy an M3 years ago and always got a good vibe

Hi there

I'm based just outside Marlow and have used them in the past and likely to again.

If I can find the right Z4MC could be worth getting a convoy together for the Ace one month??
Finally found a Z4MC IB/Black Nappa/quite a few toys on it/

That would be good, I post on here when we are going up, it's the 1st Monday of the month so weather permitting.

Thanks for posting that indeep75, I bought my Zed in Amersham but Sytner is 10 minute walk from me so was considering servicing it there.

A lot of leakage from the back drivers side shocker by the looks of it?
