Another new Z4 Owner from NC
Hello everyone just bought my new to me 2007 3.0i Z4. I don't have pictures to post just yet, but she's dark green with black interior and my first ever convertible, pretty much loaded with all the bells and whistles, loving the heated seats lol. I'm also a Harley rider and very much into mod's, I've been reading through a lot of post on here and gotten some great ideas from the people on here. I would like to thank each of you for taking the time to post on this site and I look forward to getting to know you all!

I'd love to do some performance mod's, I know there's only so much which can be done and still keep it reliable, but I would like to free it up as much as possible. Other than that I'm thinking about doing some reupholstering to break up the interior colors, I like a picture I saw somewhere, with dark mustard / orange leather mixed in with the black t break everything up. Kind'a looked cool.

Re: Another new Z4 Owner from NC
I have a question about the ECU chip in the Z4, does anyone know if the Z4 computer is set up on a closed loop where it learns from the O2 sensors?
The reason I ask is from experience with upgrading my Harley. Their oem computer system is s__t, any performance upgrades require having the system reflashed. A few years ago changed out the exhaust system to a Vance & Hines exhaust, incorporated a Big Sucker intake and installed a mild cam, by doing these mod's to the Harley the factory ECU would have had to be reflashed so I went with a Thundermax ECU system which works on a closed loop set up.
That system learns from the data which is sent back from the O2 sensors so that I get the best performance out of the bike at all times any upgrades I make are learned as well as altitude changes as I ride with out ever having to dyno the bike.

Hello Si-forks, I have a 1980 Wideglide Shovel and a 2007 Dyna Wideglide, both mod-ed out lol. The 1980 has custom paint, chrome bits and pieces I designed on cad and had waterjeted plus a big bore kit. The 07 (96ci) just has performance upgrades looks stock but I can blow the doors off a 103 LOL.

Paulgs I'll have to get some taken and get them on here! Yeah when I went shopping for the Zed there were several silver ones around here but the one I bought was the only one like it. Its kinda like a British racing green but I believe it's listed as a metallic dark green.
