Chistmas Hoon to France anyone? 8th December

On the back of one of the threads on here....

Any of you guys want to express an interest for a trip out to France via the Eurotunnel from Folkestone to Calais, with a Hoon into France, and down to LIlle. It's a great Christmas town and some lovely places to stop for lunch. It's about 60 miles from Calais....bring your partners etc, as some good shops there too.....then head back late afternoon, to City Europe, pick up some Christmas stuff from Carrefour along with some drinks....

Train is approx £44 return, as there is a sale on now!

Either Sat 1st or 8th December

Early start beckons, 7am start from Folkestone.....

Any thoughts?

Need to speak to my insurance about driving in France though ( does anyone know how elephant usually area with things like that?)

We all default to 3rd party, and with most you usually pay a small premium for fully comp

I'll have to check, on my old policy, it was outlined that I was covered for Europe, but not on my new policy.
