2015 launch so put me down for one in 2020 when the prices are realistic

Makes me laugh though that they will have new fronts and rears not 'sausage factory' approach. I wonder how long before it drifts to other models then we see the forecourts full of 318i diesel M sports with the exact same family look :rofl:

in the looks department its exactloy what the 1M is lacking. Since the E89 Z4 is more of a cruiser than a B road barn stormer it makes sense this M2. Franckly I've never understood why they never calles the Z4M sipmly an M4 or M2 in the first place - it would have been far more successfull and different enough not to canabalise M3 sales.

Reminds me of the old Fiat Coupe with that diagonal "stripe" up the side of the car..... :fuelfire:

I'm waiting to see the price of the new Audi R4. Why can't BMW make another mid-engined car again after M1?
Current BMW: 640d Gran Coupe M Sport (F06), 118d SE (F20).
Previous BMW: Z4 sDrive23i M Sport (E89), 318i Sport (F30), 120d SE (F20), Z4 2.5i Sport Roadster (E85), 523i Sport (E60), 323Ci (E46), 523i SE (E39), 318i (E36).

Because it was an unmitigated disaster for them.

Looks ok, but it'll probably be a soft turbo engine with sh***y comfy armchair seats.

BMW need to make sharper cars, not soft ones that mean any old cretin can drive it quickly.
