Sadly bikeless for some years after a split with the OH in 2011. Selling 1 house to buy 2 meant no garage, so they had to go.
Sheddy XJ550 I could abandon anywhere, but also a lovely KH500 and a tidy RD400C - doubt I will ever afford another of either of the strokers now

I have 2 rides, CB1000R and a Royal Enfield Army 500.
Both offer different experiences on the road.

Is that you on the Enfield?
And is it an original army Enfield or a modern one made to look like one?

I'm sooooo close to upgrading my 929 to one of these. I think that your photo may have closed the deal!

It is an army 500 model (2004), right hand gear change, 4 speed, made to look old. And yes that's me sitting on it......Adds a different dimension when riding in WW2 kit - great adrenaline buz.

Cool.
The tax disk was a bit of a giveaway.
Not needed now though.

I'm looking to my direct access in May and join you all.
Thinking of a Suzuki SVF650 as first bike as I heard many positive things about them being good for newcomers. The IXIL Hyperlow exhaust will most definitely be going on it if I go ahead with the purchase.
Any tips or advice for going through the tests and gear wise
?

2000 R1 for me, with twin under seat Akroprovics
Sounds lovely, but I just don't get the time to ride it. Have owned since 2004 and done around 5k on it..

Good luck with your test
I passed mine about 2 thousand years ago & its changed a lot since then, I had no lessons at all and just turned up & passed! Don't think that's possible these days... as for gear I only wear what I'm comfy in and tear out body armor etc for ease of movement/less restriction on the bike.

Awesome cbr, thinking of selling my sprint st 1050 and buying one. Only problem is being 6"4. The only bike i have found that i do not look a clown on is the s1000xr
I sold my street triple 2 years ago as it felt too small, hence the sprint. Can i ask your height?
