Hi,

I have a set of clear ones and was planning to replace them with my amber ones. Anyone got a how to? I couldn't find anything on the forum.

Thanks!

not really any need - its quite simple...

just remove the cover then undo the retaining bolts and they pop out

just 3 bolts and a cable, easy. just be careful you dont knock them out onto the floor when you are taking your current ones out

have you got a clear centre light aswell?

tricky bit is moving the 'french fry' over to the new ones. It is just stuck on with tape so can be prised off carefully.

get some new tape and easy enough to put on the new set :D

I forgot about the lighting cable...

i left the frenchfry off when i changed mine and i like it. the back of the zed is a little complicated and it makes it more simple.

nice one, make sure you dont overtighten it! on mine i just turned the nuts with my fingers as much as i could then give it one turn with a socket and thats enough to keep it in.

the reason some break is because the springs are overtightened.

sorry if im telling you how to suck eggs :P
