EQUIPMENT
Comprehensively spec’d being a Beats Edition. You can google for the PDF brochure (VW POLO 2016 brochure) but here is a snippet:

“Beats Audio sound system featuring a 300 watt output, eight channel amplifier, Digital Sound Processor (DSP) and seven high-end speakers.
Flash Red with black door mirror casing. Unique ‘beats’ decals on the side skirts, darkened rear light clusters and a ‘High Gloss Black’ radiator grille creating a distinct, contemporary style. Further impressive exterior modifications include 16 inch ‘Knight’ alloy wheels, unique ‘beats’ badging on the B pillar and rear darkened windows approximately 65% tinted, giving a distinctive look that’s edgy and fresh with real street appeal. Please note, there is usage of only certified apps while driving”.

4 Airbags, PAS, front and rear electric windows, electric mirrors, ABS, traction control, trip computer, central locking, alarm, A/C, multifunctional steering wheel and remote boot release from key.

It also has the CRUISE & PARK PACK which features cruise control and front and rear ultrasonic and audible parking sensors with optical parking display via the vehicle’s audio system.

EXTERIOR
Approaching 8 year old, it would be no surprise that it has the odd mark (stone chips, that had had a paint stick touch up by the previous owner and NSF door paint scratch), consummate with age. The paint is original all round.

That said, this car is in excellent shape. Any inspection is encouraged and welcomed.

INTERIOR.
The interior is in excellent condition.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
1.2 TSI engine pulls very well. There is no smoke or defects. It is smooth and responsive. As it’s a Bluemotion, it has an aerodynamic front grille.
I’ve driven it from Worcestershire to Leeds and achieved 55 mpg using cruise control. He’s averaging 45-50 mpg on his local commute to work.

The 5-speed manual transmission is very precise and ideal for a new driver.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Genuine 16” VW alloy wheels are excellent and he has had them powder coated in matt black. Rear tyres are Continental winter tyres with lots of tread. Fronts are Falken and Kormoran which also have decent tread.

Brakes are excellent. (at 42760 miles, all 4 brake discs/pads replaced).

Toolkit/compressor kit in boot but no spare wheel as that space is taken up by the Beats subwoofer.

HISTORY FILE
All handbooks/manuals, logbook are present.
Service book is fully stamped. The previous owner serviced on dates and mileage as follows:

I would be really interested for my daughter, as she needs a car with F&R parking sensors. No point at the minute, though, as she is off to Uni in September and can't take it with her!
