Remapping Sport / Sport+

Post by Silverstar » Wed Mar 06, 2024 6:39 pm

I find putting the car into Sport or Sport+ with the gearbox (ZF6HP) in auto mode not very enjoyable / useable for in town driving as it holds onto the revs way too high before changing e.g. 2nd to 3rd around 3000 rpm. I always find if I want to use sport or sport+ around town I have to switch the box to manual mode but sometimes I am lazy and don't want to shift manually so the long shot question is, is there a way to remap this sport and sport plus mode on the drive selector?

I have XHP and it alters the gearbox mapping but doesn't change the sport or sport+ mode on the drive selector.

Why not edit the shift points in the 3 modes to suit your taste ?

How do I do that? When you say the 3 modes you mean comfort sport and sport+?

Correct ..

Looks on 6HP it’s only comfort / sports ..6HP / DCT / 8HP all have differences but same basic logic
