The wheels do it no favours.
Would 100% help selling it with OEM wheels.

rick_bubu, do take a very good look at the ones I'm advertising. They are not perfect by any means at all.
Suitably helpful price to be discussed. :D

Right pics , description & price leave the wheels on & shouldn't struggle to find a buyer on ebay .
Forumites can be narrowminded  personally never found it a struggle selling any car of mine with aftermarket alloys .

It's not really narrow-mindedness, but those Calibre wheels are probably a bit marmite!

I wouldn't want them anyway. Although I bought my current Z4 with CSL Reps fitted and sold my previous one with E89 wheels on it.

But if you have to buy a set to replace them you might not come out of it any better off selling them separately so it's a tough call.

Good luck finding a Tiefgrun fan - there aren't many that colour about.

I wouldnt say it’s just forum people being picky but “most” car buyers like to buy a standard car.
So you are appealing to a larger buying audience with standard wheels.

I'd imagine it would be easier to sell with standard wheels, but wheels on their own are a nightmare to sell too, so you'd probably end up with them hanging around in your garage for months.

If you're in no rush, just leave as is unless you get a great deal on a new set of wheels.

This forum does only represent a small percentage of the sort of people that will view your car on ebay/autotrader etc, some of them don't even appreciate turbo badges on cars :tumbleweed: :D

Without any info at all on the car itself it’s hard to call it,there’s no indication of miles, year, engine size, condition etc, etc, so it could be a £3k car or a £9k car, if its the cheaper end leave the wheels on, probably won’t make any difference at all.
Obvs just imo.

The irony here is by announcing the cars prowess you have undersold its capabilities :P should it not have been plural on the "turbo"
