2005 Z4 Bluetooth Music Recommendations

Post by Zellyman15 » Fri Jan 26, 2024 4:59 am

Another bluetooth post since I am new to my 2005 Z4. I was able to connect my hands free bluetooth, and now I am in search for something to install in the radio or in the back of the car to allow bluetooth music.

I do not have Navigation and I am not 100% sure if I have dsp (I do not believe I do), but I am unsure of what route to take. I have seen people speak of adding an aux as well which I am open to as I do not need bluetooth, just need music from my phone lol.

There are many posts about bluetooth adapters and such, but I am not sure what is the best bang for your buck. The grom ones seem the most expensive, and I was hoping to pay less but still have good quality. I know that is a stretch, but I hope to hear some good recommendations and possibly peoples' experiences with this challenge.

Any information is helpful! Thank you :D

I have had two Z4s and in both instances bought a 20 quid dongle from ebay and it works great - plug and play.

Just search for 'z4 e85 bluetooth' in ebay and you get dozens of options around £16 to £22 some with mics etc just take your pick.
