Hi good folks
Am currently on my second E85, which is my daily and only car and loving it. Have always fancied the Coupe and have been saving the pennies, so here we are.

Manual preferred but will happily consider an auto too. Budget around £5 - £7k, depending on spec, condition and history. Based in Nottingham, but happy to travel for the right car.

Let me know what you have

Kind regards
Rick

E86 Z4 Coupe

Hi. I have the following Z4 coupe which I intend to advertise in the near future:

2007 07 plate 3.0si, 6 speed manual.
Metallic Montego blue with champagne leather and black piano interior trim. The bodywork is, in my view, in exceptional condition for a car of this age - there is the odd stone chip but nothing of note. Likewise inside - some very light (and I mean light) bolster wear but otherwise excellent. The previous owner who had the car for 8 years was fastidious.
BMW 108 split rim alloys (unmarked) with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres in good condition.
MOT until July 2024 (no advisories at last MOT).
Very good documented service history, last serviced at local BMW specialist in March 2023. Comes with all keys etc etc.
The previous owner also had the local BMW dealer install DAB to the factory fit radio - presumably at great expense! Cupholders etc work.
Going by the reg plate (YC prefix) I think it was originally a BMW UK car, then had 2 or 3 owners before the previous owner bought it in 2015.
125k miles.

I bought the car last year (a 4th car) as I'd wanted one for a long time and this one fitted the bill in terms of condition and provenance. The guy I bought it from had owned it since 2015 and was a mature and enthusiastic owner who had very clearly looked after it well. He was only selling as he'd bought an F-type Jag.

Reason for my sale - I bought it to replace an R53 Cooper S that sadly came to the end of its life. I thought I could use the Z4 for some light commuting and runaround duties but the reality it's too nice a car for this which means that it's not being used enough. And I'm missing the character and chuckability of the Cooper S so want to find another one (or maybe a Clio 200 or similar hot hatch of relatively modest value) that I can feel more relaxed about using every day and parking in town without worrying about picking up dings and scrapes. Much as I've enjoyed the Z4 and would like to keep it, it makes sense to move it on as I can't keep adding cars to the fleet and I've scratched the Z4 itch. If I had space in the garage it would stay but that's occupied by a Mk1 MX5 which can't be parked outside as they're so rust prone.

Happy to provide more photos etc by PM. I'm in Aberdeen. My plan is to advertise the car at £6,950.

I don't have many photos of the car to share at the moment but have attached the most recent one for reference - number plate obscured but happy to provide details by PM if necessary.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I'm already speaking with someone about their car and tbh Aberdeen would be a bit far (even for me).
That's a lovely looking E86! Best wishes with your sale and hope you find the replacement you're looking for

Kind regards
Rick
