For sale

Post by MarkG - E85 » Tue Dec 05, 2023 4:26 pm

The time has come to finally part with my beloved Z4 as it's give me a few problems just as I've signed up for an electric Mercedes through a scheme at work.

It's a 2lt 55 plate in silver.
NA55 KHP
Just had a fresh oil and filter change,
Has been straight piped so it sounds amazing through tunnels etc,
Roof motor has been relocated into the boot space,
102,000 miles on the clock,
MOT due on 15/12/23

Now the bad things....

Engine light on- showing as camshaft sensor, B position.
Airbag light on, think it's the module in the B pillar and I will be replacing it after Christmas if it isn't sold by then.

£2,500 and I'll be pulling naked cartwheels in my local pub.........or best offer

Strong money for a car which will need quite a lot of work at risk i.e. the fixes you’ve said may not actually fix the issue.

MOT expiring soon and MOT history may also put people off.

Any pictures?

Personally I think you’ll be lucky to see half of that, but regardless GLWTS.

Agreed it’s not the best advert but half is harsh. It’s worth more than that in parts alone!

Harsh maybe but a parts car will always be worth more.
If I were, for example, to break my car, I’m sure it would be worth more in small parts even with nothing wrong.

A 2.0 will already attract a small market. If you factor in issues, will severely reduce your potential buyer market.

The only proof is of course in the pudding, so it will be very interesting to see what you sell it for OP.

To maximise on your sale price I’d recommend fixing and then selling. And taking out a fresh MOT. Again best of luck OP.
