Car shifts into park while in drive

At very slow speed, my 2011 Z sometimes while in drive, shifts into park with a "clank".
It sounds like I ran something over.

It's rare, but very strange.

Any ideas??

No but not good..
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

Agree - that's worse than 'not good' - get it to BMW.
