Bit as I told there is something to do to get it to perfect runner. It drives ok but not ready to sell, however if you got the place and skills, for next season you could get a nice weekend toy. I will miss her.
Wasn't looking for a full on project to be honest
It can be done also. But for that I will need some extra time. Thats why I m telling she is not prepared for sale yet. I even can not imagine the asking price :D

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the 2.5si facelift E85, I've owned my 2007 model since 2016 and use it as a daily driver.
Unfortunately though, I (or maybe my car) did not meet the standards to become a member of The Club Exclusive Maldives :x

Not a 2.5, but a 6 cylinder all the same.

Thoughts?

I have a 2.2 as my daily, but it is a manual 5-speed with close ratios (65mph in 5th is 3000rpm roughly). Cracking car for rural Norfolk roads and still has that lovely engine sound.
I am not sure whether the auto would be the same box as the bigger engines tbh?
If so, my wife's 2.5i is a very Jekyll and Hyde car. Bimble round quietly until you hit the Sport button, then it comes alive.
Whether the lesser torque of the 2.2 would affect that much I have no idea.
HQ of 'Norfolk Zed Rescue'.
Always happy to help if I can.

If the forum helped you, why not help the forum back. Thats the Z4 way!

Driver's seat worn, steering wheel worn, 10 owners but excellent MOT. The front left headlight is discoloured. The front bumper has been repainted, no accident history, and no pictures of the engine bay. Automatic! However, the car is obviously the best colour. https://classicsworld.co.uk/guides/bmw- ... ers-guide/

And so what if the bumper has been repainted. Better than a stone chipped one, surely?

I wouldn't worry about that too much as I prefer Montego Blue to Maldives!

You could always start a thread for the Exclusive Club Montego.

No, I have a Maldives blue 2.5, the best colour. This one did catch my eye, seven previous owners and no accidents. The MOT history looks good and the hardtop is worth around £1000. Slightly tempted to buy it myself!
Did you? 8)

Abarth 595 Comp.
Golf Clipper - collectors item

Just the small problem of selling my own car has put a stop to it.
