That's a lot of camber for the front...
The tyres are wearing very evenly and you can hardly notice.

Just changed the bulbs for white LED. Looks a lot better but the outer ring is not pure white (same as the inner ring). Not as bad as the pic shows though.

Cheap 5 min job. I also have the white LED internal bulbs that I need to change.

Looks much better..the original halogens are so dim..out on a run with several cars you can hardly see them in the mirror at distance on a less than dull day..
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

I agree B21, even thought he outer ring is not pure white, it is an improvment to teh halogens. Just need to try them in the dark now. Don't need to wait too long in the British winter, 4pm should do it. :?

I have started looking to see if i can do a similar thing to my Triumph as well 8)

They will be too bright / annoying after dusk to other road users as they glare a lot..but you’ve got your headlights then

I'm sure the rings are programmable for different brightness. On our 23i the rings were a different brightness depending on what keyfob we used. I assumed that they could be programmed and that they were programmed differently.
It was like that when we got it and I never looked into it.

Yes you’re correct..I’d forget that aspect..I’ve turned mine up to pretty full brightness in the DRL intensity option…thnx for reminding us

Ok so I have just installed the led interior lights, I have the extended light pack so there were quite as few.

Mostly they were very simple, all except the door lights. The cable is so short that there is no way to reinsert it. Surely I don't have to take the door card off.

Also there are a couple of very small lights behind the seat, where the speakers are. I have no idea how to change those.

These will have to wait until it's light.

The door puddle lights are very tight..I fitted the LEDs after just getting the bulb holders out with a lot of cursing and used a pair of pin nosed pliers to get them refitted back into the light casing..

The rear red lights are non replaceable..well to me they are..

Will be doing my own oil / filter service this year.
In the next couple of weeks probably ( first time I’ve done this ) and replace one corner of my front splitter , after some complete bellend forced me to clip the curb or have a whole side taken out !!!

Ref oil change ..probably good to do a few 3k-5k intervals to try and get rid of the crap, accumulated during the period it had ridiculously long oil change intervals…not very costly if using your own labour..

Splitter I couldn’t possibly comment… :tumbleweed:

Only two "planned" mods coming up, and neither all that exciting
Both from the Extra Storage pack, the drivers knee drop down bin and the passthrough hatch with the shelves.
Now having a high spec E89, thanks to all the retrofits, there's not a lot more to do, although I'm sure I'll come up with something at some point :D
