It's a big job, most of which I have absolutely no clue of how to do........yet! :wink:

How much was the deposit on the kit/interior and how long until delivery and full payment?… I don’t think I can answer until I have clarity on this point :?

I am the sort that needs to know what I am doing before I do it. I am not the 'suck it and see' or 'hit and hope' type. I need to know what the effort on Y will be if I do X. That is proving very challenging at present because I know nothing about electronics. I could wire your house with my eyes shut but electronics are a different ball game. Everything is interlinked in a car in some way, especially modern cars.

I also hate making mistakes. They tend to be costly, time consuming and annoying.

People have already accused me of over-thinking this project; it's just how I am. I am not comfortable making changes that I don't understand the impact of. So I am trying to understand everything all at once and it's giving me a headache. I will get there with the help of some very knowledgeable people who are very generous with sharing their experience and knowledge.
