Just want to say Hello to everyone.
Joined the Forum a couple of weeks ago, having followed it for a few months.
Great info, superb experience with the members I've communicated with.
Can't post a picture of my Z4 yet.....still looking. Moment I get one the picture will be on!
Thanks to the forum I now know what to look for and the jobs I can do. Perhaps just as importantly know the jobs I can't do!
Will be actively contributing to the forum once I getting going with a Z.
Had all sorts of BMWs over the years, Z time now.

There is a Phoenix yellow (rare colour) E85 for sale on the forum and the seller, Lynchy, now resides in North Yorkshire I believe!

Hi, welcome to the forum, yes it’s a great place to be with some very helpful advice
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

Back on the Newbie page because it's taken me a while to find my Z4. After seeing a number of very poor cars at dealers, took a chance on a private buy. Ended up with a 2008 2.5i se manual, 87k. FSH, totally standard right down to the whippy and massive 16in alloys!
Gave it a good check over at prepurchase. Had it to garage after a few weeks for a check over. All good apart from a weeping front strut. I've replaced this along with the spring and all the other bits. Other side to do this weekend of weather OK. Also got the roof motor put in the boot.
Both tasks completed without hassle thanks to excellent info in the forum.

Because it's taken you so long to find a car, your house has been sorely neglected. Best you think about some serious maintenance sharpish! :poke:

So many things to do, so little time! Keep finding new jobs to do on the car from these pages. Got to pace myself to make sure it all stays fun.
Hope everyone survived the storms last night. No tiles on Zeds outside!
