New valve cover replacement

Post by jstos » Mon Sep 04, 2023 5:01 am

Just had my valve cover replaced with an aluminum one. My oem valve cover had a crack. My mechanic told me to find an aluminum one instead of the plastic and I end up buying this one. He was amazed with the quality of this piece. His words was "that's a badass cover" .
Here is the link for the part. And they now offer Lifetime Warranty on most of the parts they sell.

We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

Brennan makes one for the N54 as well.. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-bremmen-par ... 5284m~brp/
Much cheaper than the VTT version.

The aluminium cover does look nice. I noticed the coolant res cap is not on tight. The arrows need to be accusing each other instead of avoiding each other.

Thanks for the observation Christopher. I'll have a quick look just to make sure it is tight. 👍
