Problem with mapping is that it kills the warranty completely. Can’t extend warranty either. Hence it’s a no from me.

However, if you are going down that route, you can get some amazing results.

Don't know if AC Schnitzer UK (Rossiters) are able to do remaps on the B48 and keep warranty? They have done in the past on other engines. Of course it cost a fortune, being 'backed' by BMW and having the name ACS on it!
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

I think it’s a bit murky. You getACS warranty, but not a bmw one and then you can’t extend warranty.
Used to be fully backed by bmw.

It’s also £4,200 for the upgrade module which boosts
It to 400hp. That’s ridiculously expensive.

Indeed! ACS are not shy of charging money. They have a 2022 M240i ex-demo car for sale, with all the ACS 'bits' on it. Yours for just £57,000. :o

They are charging a hefty premium for their warranty!
A good stage 1 on an m40i will get you 440bhp and will cost you under 1k. How can they justify over 4k?

I know it’s a separate module and not a remap, but still.
