Not a big 'How to', but one nonetheless. Just gummi pflege-d the car: bonnet, roof, doors and boot. Found the best way to do it is with your fingers & thumb. Then you can feel what's rubber and what isn't, what's dry and needs care, all the nooks & crannies (Ooh, missus) and what's gritty and needs cleaning.

And it makes your hands lovely & soft afterwards.

I bought mine in a stick format as I thought it would be much easier to apply, and that's proved to be the case.

I use it on all my rubbers too!

I did make one mistake though...applied it to the rubber window seals along the doors where the windows drop down. Now everytime I put the windows down I get horrible smear marks all over the glass. :headbang:

I bought it in stick form too. Easy to apply and has certainly cured an irritating rattle from the roof seal which is in effect above the roll over hoops :D

It’s great stuff. Mine came with a foam pad applicator attached to the bottle. I found it in Lidl of all places.
It’s great and worked wonders on my old Zed at keeping all the seals and roof edges supple and dewy. Highly recommend it.

Literally, 'rubber care'. Of all the cars I've had, it's more necessary on an E89 than any. When you feel around - 'Ooh, missus' again - there's a lot of rubber on this car and it's functional, not just for decoration.

As GF is just a stick of silicone grease I opted a long time ago for a cheaper alternative from the bay.
A fiver will get you a little pot of silicone grease inc posting.
Works just as good and as it’s a little thinner it soaks in to rubber quicker. No need to let stand and dry as with gf.
