Underseat Subwoofer (Aftermarket)

Hey Guys and Gals. I’m wanting to fit an aftermarket underseat subwoofer in my 2005 E85, however I want to mount it to the wall behind the passenger seat. Does anyone know if I can drill and screw it safely. What is behind that wall that I could damage. The screws I will use are only short stubby ones maybe half inch long at the most. Thanks in advance.
