Hi Guys,

Need a help:
How do I repair this? Is this called the cowl cover? (i'm not sure).
I could actually see the end of the windshield glass because the plastic has broken off completely at some places.
How urgent is to get this repaired?

It's cosmetic so at your leisure.

A new one is somewhere between £100 and £150 I believe and it's an easy thing to swap yourself.

Do a search for it on eBay as you'll get it cheaper than that.

Hi,
for change this part, you have to dismantle the windshield wiper (both) and unscrewed few mechanical fastening. Is a 20 min job and I made single. In my country ,this part cost me around,120 euros.
Is not big deal.

Very strange how this has got damaged. As previously suggested, it could be over-enthusiastic windscreen cleaning with a large blunt instrument.

Whilst you're replacing the cowling I would recommend that you fit these clips to the wipers as they're prone to wear and are a bit fiddly to fit with the cowling in situ:

You will probably need some of these as well:

RickRob, Dorin, skelters, and others... thanks for the reply.
I will try to buy the part & do it myself and will let you know how it goes.

Looking at this has made me think it's worth taking mine off and giving it a coat of paint, looks very tired and grey

Be careful if removing, the clips break very easily as I know from experience!

Nice work  hope you removed the foliage

Whats the puller for? The wiper arms should come off with ease.

Not always...

Mine were a pig and I didn't have a puller. There's a bit of corrosion to deal with usually.
