insane you can bolt an after market blower on a car, strip it out, throw some areo at at and go toe to toe with the million plus hyper cars!

Probably only around 50k in that car, performance is nuts, the acceleration is insane.

Not sure about the putting-gloves on at 100mph or the door incident though! :o

I've blagged a couple of laps around the ring with a couple of semi pro , both pay drivers in the 24 hour race , drivers . They are on a different level from most on here , and way beyond my level will ever be . Clarkson summed it up with the nsx Laguna seca feature years ago , they don't comprehend fear of what may be around the corner . It's an eye opener to say the least to be driven broadside around the outside of a Porsche in a mx5 with a couple of wheels on the grass or cut a motorbike up in a m3 csl entering a corner at well over 100 mph , with the bike almost touching the wing mirror.
I personally wouldn't want to be at the level I got exposed to , both drivers were very committed to say the least :driving:

^^^^^^^

My thoughts exactly!

Scary watching that, you’re relying on the general public knowing what they’re doing.....a recipe for disaster!

What a machine though, capable of insane speeds, awesome car!!!!

I dont know if this was at touristenfahrten or at a track day. That also makes a difference what kind of public to expect on the track.
But some nordschleife rules were bent during that clip

I'm guessing track day as the chicane after the barriers was missing, all the cars being overtaken had 'number stickers' in their windows, and he was overtaking both sides.

Both of which are fine if you're racing, as all parties know what to expect.

Driving in that manner on a track day is just asking to get black flagged (after a word to race control from the marshals), and simply has no place on a Tourist day

:soapbox:

Exactly what I was thinking , no bikes either . It makes a difference but he's still on one , very impressive lap . I view it as just a few seconds closer to a huge accident but I'm not a racing driver and never will be !

I was just the passenger , I had no say in it . It's maybe cultural differences but one driver was Nordic and the other Canadian , it was quite a few years ago when it was no where as busy as now , a fiver a lap and plenty of space to park in the main car park on a weekend , I miss those times so much . :(
