Not that I have the carbon fibre bug I have the urge to add some more bling to my engine bay to match with my carbon intake system. The engine cover seems a perfect subject!

Eventuri do one for an eye-watering price.

Hack Engineering do one for a realistic price, but by the time I post to Oz it will start to add up: http://www.hackengineering.co.uk/produc ... cover-s54/

A company called Racing Dynamics do one for a good price, but it's butt ugly and has their giant logo across the top! https://www.racdyn-usa.com/PROD/131+74+54+015.html

I then ran across this company called Eppar, ding them for quite cheap

Finally, there are Chinese models on eBay. Obviously the quality of these last two is going to be anybody's guess but I was wondering seeing if anybody had purchased one and had any comments?

I spend a lot of time doing my own servicing on the Z4M, plus the bonnet is open often enough at car meets and stuff, so I reckon it can be justified ;)

Was your TT one an eBay special or high end?

I got OEM stuff from Ebay. I also have a OSIR rear Spoiler and front chinn spoiler and a MTM rear Carbon Fiber diffuser. The quallity on the OEM weave is 2nd to none. The OSIR stuff is nice enough but you can see gaps in the weave if you look real close.

I’ve the burkhart one. Got it through themselves. Was £129.

Will be getting paired with a Gruppe M intake when it arrives from Japan in the next few weeks

Mmmmm that looks nice! 129 quid is a good price for what looks like decent quality?

Yeah chrome CSL m3 one, think the chrome was an optional extra. Srhutch has one aswell I believe. Cheers for the compliment on the engine bay. I’m happy the way it looks but could do with getting the oil filter housing lid/cap polished along with the vanos cover as is pitted and bugs me.

These Carbon Fiber parts seem good value, the little bits I have on my Engine bay were over £300 ! Mirror caps are about £1000 for the TT :O
