how do i get a rattle can in the same colour as my car? cant find one in halfrauds. i need to paint a rear parking sensor so either a spray can or a touch up stuck might do the trick.

My local (small independent chain) car spares shop can order any colour you want - have you got anything like that near you or possibly a search on ebay assuming in both cases you don't need it today.

I Ordered one off ebay for my mates Midnight blue z4 coupe to paint his parking sensor - was £16 with a tin of laquer and was a great colour march.

dont paint it with a touch up stick it'll look shite!

Any decent local autopaint supplier should be able to whip you a rattle can up off your paint code or reg/chassis number if you don't want to mail order one. Alot of oem manufacturers also sell them but it goes without saying they will be pricey.

The Halfords nearest to me (Broadbridge Heath near Horsham) had Black Sapphire in a rattle can on the shelf. I was happy with it. You need the lacquer as well, which Halfords also had.

Here's the BMW paints (with a Citroen intruder!) on their website:
