How are you getting on with this medication ? Is it helping with your sleep ?

Hi Sean,
Will be interested to see your reply, I tried this a while back and after 3 days had to stop using it - too many negative reactions.
Now I have nothing but Oxycodone and although a long way from perfect it's the best I've had. I take about 5 to 6 doses of 5 ml every 24 hours plus Paracetamol.
Hope you have better luck, all very best, Mike

Winter workhorse + Health update

Hello this is Mrs N4LLY (Melanie)
Sean is very tied and finding it difficult to concentrate. He is next to me telling me what to type!

The Pregabalin Neuraxpharm is working well with the Oxycodone, the perfect cocktail to relieve some of the pain. Sean has had a catostrophic bleed again, like his first incident. Huge blood lose which resulted in him being completly knock out!!!!

We also managed to burst his stomach balloon, by putting meds in the wrong tube, Doh!. Sean was told to go to A and E which naturally he fused, he does not have the energy to do this. Eventually our lovely nurse did a home visit to replace it. Happy days!

I will keep you all updated, if Sean does not have the energy.

Thank you all for being so caring and kind, it is very much appreciacted. xx

:)

Thank you, hopefully Sean will stay awake long enough to post again. I have to keep poking him, he still wakes up with a big smile on his face.

my heart goes out to you all.

Our old GK for my sons team (and one of my sons best friends) just found out he has Leukaemia. Such devastating news as he is 13 (almost 14).

    Continue fighting everyone

Good to hear that he’s getting more effective pain control, even if the consequence is being more somnolent. Thank you for the update, and I’ll add my best wishes to those above.
