tis indeed which is why I said to Steven I thought it was aimed at me. If you were close I would take you up on you offer and you could have a go in mine.J13ME wrote:Anyone is more than welcome
srHutch, I kept seeing people saying Steve after you posted.. I guessed the S at the start was for Steve, is that not your name? haha
My main concern with 220's is the hardcore, and is it too much. Countryside blasts are fine, but as a motorway cruiser I'm guessing not so much.

Hope you never want a GT3RS tom!!tomscott wrote:Well that would worry me more with the low milage, how many of those miles are track miles. Just my 2 cent.
Maybe I'm just being naive with the type of car it is.

I really do want a trip through Europe and up to Scotland etc.
But that's why I need to drive one. The zed can be bad enough, especially on 19's with a strut brace.

May I suggest an Exige?!! I keep looking at the S3. I'm sure that's what I'll have next but the S2 is still a beast.

It would get a bit crowded at the back end of the Z cruises with all the defectors

I did look hard into the Lotus but the engines were just so disappointing

The engines are not impressive but the performance is, I had the lowly S model with only 134bhp & even with that amount of power it was near as dammit as quick 0-60 as a 3litre zed (5.9) and thats before you get near the corners when it would just disappear
One of the ultimate drivers cars imho, it's just not as nice to live with as a zed

I agree with you completely. The fact the engine doesn't dominate is what makes Lotus' such good drivers cars. They aren't "magazine stat" cars, they're more than the sum of their parts.Smartbear wrote:The engines are not impressive but the performance is, I had the lowly S model with only 134bhp & even with that amount of power it was near as dammit as quick 0-60 as a 3litre zed (5.9) and thats before you get near the corners when it would just disappear
