Thanks for the welcome & comments.

I like the whippy, not as long as I thought it would be, so it will stay. I doubt there will be many mods, but Eisenmann back box is on the list. I do like a good exhaust note and missing the M135i pops.

At nearly 50 I should really grow up!

I replaced my backbox with a Longlife stainless steal one bought from a forum member. It makes a great sound and gives a deep subtle pop on over run.

No point in buying 'toys' if you're going to be grown up.

If you're looking for a bit more noise in the cabin you could always remove one or both pieces of the sound generator foam. 5 minute job that makes a big difference to the sound in the car.

Just had a look at your car Jedi, the mods have made a big difference. Given me a few things to think about!

Welcome, Zed looks like a nice example 8)
Not a bad colour choice either
Must admit I do like the M135i/M235i. Enjoy the coupe :driving:

It was your car Dale that convinced me to go for white. It was that or a very nice (expensive) Monaco Blue example.

I had your car photos saved on my iPhone.

My wife hates white cars, but strangely she has taken it out today, in preference to the X5.

The M135i is amazing, lots around and will be bargains in 18 months or so.

Pleased I was able to influence your colour decision :) Mine was also from Sytner's, although a number of years ago now.

You may have to start hiding the keys from the wife!

Well she returned home with a smile, so she obviously enjoyed her ride.

I bought from Broak Oak in Kent. I felt that Sytner were doing me a favour, so I didn't buy their car.

Welcome from a fellow Coupe owner. You have obviously made the right choice! :poke:

Alpine White is definitely a rare colour - based on some numbers Taz got there were 5 SE Coupes and 18 Sport Coupes destined for the UK in that colour!

Now you just need to find a way to keep the Mrs out of it.

Welcome - that's a very distinctive looking Coupe.

I'll have to keep an eye out for you as we seem to both live in Cheshire (I'm near Nantwich).

Thanks, she's been out again in it today, but only because I needed the X5. Normal service will be resumed from tomorrow.

I wonder if the white car craze hadn't quite taken off back in 2007, 18 seems a low number.
