Is your strut brave the wrong way round? I know for an ///m it's meant to point forward? Is it same for a non m?

It has been like that since I bought the car. I have searched the forum and although I agree it should be pointing forward, it would then fit directly over the oil filler cap and also sit tightly against the air intake tube. The general consenus and solution from the various threads was to fit it backwards. Not had any issues and not sure what the downsides would be if any, but the dealer has just fitted it back in that direction as well after working on my zed.

Great idea for a thread this, suppose it would be rude not to contribute...
My 2010 Z4 SDrive23i M-Sport in Sapphire Black with Coral Red leather. Has usual M sport extras, plus Bluetooth, connectivity pack, heated seats, and auto lights and wipers and now has black performance grilles.
