If you want to lower your budget I’m working on prepping a 2.5 prefacelift.
It can be done also. But for that I will need some extra time. Thats why I m telling she is not prepared for sale yet. I even can not imagine the asking pricevmlopes wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 11:20 pmWasn't looking for a full on project to be honestx_rays wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 11:13 pm You can come to Langley if you are in Reading and check out if you wish. We can also chat via Whatsup. Bit as I told there is something to do to get it to perfect runner. It drives ok but not ready to sell, however if you got the place and skills, for next season you could get a nice weekend toy. I will miss her.

Montego Blue is an excellent colour
Driver's seat worn, steering wheel worn, 10 owners but excellent MOT. The front left headlight is discoloured. The front bumper has been repainted, no accident history, and no pictures of the engine bay. Automatic! However, the car is obviously the best colour. https://classicsworld.co.uk/guides/bmw- ... ers-guide/vmlopes wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 5:43 pm Not a 2.5, but a 6 cylinder all the same.
Thoughts?

Your a better man than me no way can I tell that bumper has been resprayed, last owner since 2017, so must have a few before that with quick turnaroundsraymond.harper wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 5:59 pmDriver's seat worn, steering wheel worn, 10 owners but excellent MOT. And so what if the bumper has been repainted. Better than a stone chipped one, surely?vmlopes wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 6:49 pmYour a better man than me no way can I tell that bumper has been resprayed, last owner since 2017, so must have a few before that with quick turnaroundsraymond.harper wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 5:59 pmDriver's seat worn, steering wheel worn, 10 owners but excellent MOT. I wouldn't worry about that too much as I prefer Montego Blue to Maldives!
Did you?raymond.harper wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 1:07 pmNo, I have a Maldives blue 2.5, the best colour. This one did catch my eye, seven previous owners and no accidents. The MOT history looks good and the hardtop is worth around £1000. Slightly tempted to buy it myself!
Just the small problem of selling my own car has put a stop to it.pvr wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2023 10:53 amDid you?raymond.harper wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 1:07 pmNo, I have a Maldives blue 2.5, the best colour.
