This was my previous Toledo blue 2004 (march) car after I installed the OEM satnav system, where I removed the grey radio with black (as well as the vents).

Just out of interest, how much was the satnav system and was it easy to fit? Also (may be a dumb question) does it have a tv function too?

PVR, DHK and myselff to name but three have done the SatNav retro fit, time to do another search :poke: .

Cost is £500-£600 and is failry easy apart from cutting the hole in the dash which is nerve racking. It takes about a day to fit as well.

I will help you with this one

i found that thread just after i posted! but thanks anyway. I'd love to retrofit this. Each time I fit something new on my car I get a great sense of achievement! I would be cacking myself though while cutting a hole in my dash. I'd almost certainly screw it up. Does anyone know if it has the tv function or is it just satnav? (sorry, i know this is slightly off topic!)

You need an extra widget for TV, readily available but at a cost.

If you go ahaed get yourself a dremel with the flexible attachment, much easier than any other method, and just take you time. Cover the dash with towels so if the dremel slips hopefully the towels will protect. And just remember you can cut the hole bigger but not smaller so take your time.

At 1 hour each evening, yes. Got sick to death sniffing the burning plastic with your head stuck against the windscreen :D

It was so much easier the second time around with the M. Just a pencil mark against the option on the spec sheet

Is that all HIFI Professionnal DSP models are compatible with MP3?

Or this is only for the 2005 models?
