Refurbished some used 911 calipers, one a reman the other off eBay.
Have you also provide update adapters for calipers ? This breaks are more bigger like serials breaks, or ?
Yes, updated brackets from RallyRoad.net and also new longer brake lines from them as well. I used new SS bleeder valves and new seals and silicon dust covers. The decals are heat resistant for calipers.

Fitted a new Varta AGM battery as I thought the old Yuasa was leaking but looks fine. My mates that are still in the motor trade say “a better starter with Varta”

Customised the paddles on my steering wheel. I wanted left pull down a gear and right pull up a gear so needed to change the paddles to suit this.

Lots of cutting and grinding of plastic but very happy with the final result:

Nice one .Wanted to do this when I had steering wheel off but couldn`t work out which wires to swap as my wiring was different to other cars that had done it where you just swap 2 wires over . I see you have changed the paddles as well . Did you take any photos of the install ? .

Reading this thread will help you understand the birth of the project:

https://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopi ... uto+paddle

To re-wire you can use a multimeter to find out what the paddle wires do. I think the wiring is different on a Z4 auto wheel, but with a photo I may be able to help.

There is so much customisation needed to make them fit. I started off with a normal standard wheel. The rear trims regardless of being paddleshift trims will need to be hacked so best to use normal trims. The back cover will also need to be hacked about.

Maybe I should start another thread but it won't be a guide unfortunately, more like a photo dump :D

The 1 series wheel is what I used for inspiration for the final look:

Change new battery and try to get Optima Redtop fitted there. Works quite well, just 3d printed little shim part under battery bracket. Seems very nice and now car starting like new :)

Really??? So you’ve replaced Push for down, Pull for up??? Why??? It’s the natural way of things, everyone else is wrong
