Z4 Forum Charity?

Post by wills » Tue Jul 12, 2011 7:15 pm

Hi all, I'm not affiliated with any charities but wondered if this Forum supports a charity?

There seems so much potential to raise money at meets etc, which for just a couple of quid per member could support a great cause & get some PR / new members to the Forum?

I'm accepting donations for my roof repairs!

In all seriousness that sounds like a very good idea. I'm not aware if there are any charities for victims of road accidents, however what about one of the emergency services? St. John's ambulance? Mountain rescue?

Air Ambulance I guess would be the most relevant - no funding by government and hugely involved in assisting at major RTAs.

I believe they are regional though, and operate / funded individualy.

Is there someone in charge of the forum that could authorise / take charge / centralise funds, & initiate a member vote?
